Community Acupuncture

You can come to Community Acupuncture as often as you like. The price remains at €40-60. You decide how much you want to give each time.

Acupuncture can be helpful for a wide variety of ailments. Following the principles of naturopathy, we consider all of your symptoms and conditions in the diagnosis and develop a treatment plan based on the criteria of Chinese medicine.

We treat, among other things:

Acute and chronic pain and blockages

e.g.: back and joint pain, spinal syndromes, tendon and joint diseases, neck and throat tension, osteoarthritis, arthritis, hip and knee joint pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome, headaches, fibromyalgia (fiber muscle pain), pain of the chewing and dental system (jaw tension, bruxism, etc.).

Neurological diseases

e.g.: Migraines, neuralgia.

Vegetative disorders

e.g.: Insomnia, exhaustion syndrome, functional heart problems, inner restlessness, blood pressure fluctuations, sexual disharmony.

Respiratory diseases/allergies

e.g.: Asthma, hay fever, bronchitis, colds.

Diseases of the digestive system

e.g.: Reflux, gastritis, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease.

Gynecological diseases

e.g.: Menstrual pain, cycle irregularities, PMS, endometriosis.

Ear, nose, throat and eye diseases

e.g.: Sinusitis, tonsillitis, sudden hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness, glaucoma, dry eye.

In many cases, acupuncture can improve these or similar complaints. We generally recommend acupuncture as a complementary therapy to support your treatment with your general practitioner or specialist.

We will take approximately 20 minutes for the anamnesis to discuss your concerns, classify them according to the criteria of TCM and select your acupuncture points.

Once the acupuncture needles are inserted, you can relax completely for 20-30 minutes. In the meantime, we can start talking to the next patient in the next room.

The treatment, including the initial consultation, takes approximately one hour. To ensure you can fully relax, we recommend planning a short break before any follow-up appointments.

There's no general rule for how many sessions are necessary; it depends on your individual symptoms and treatment goals. We'll determine these together with you. Ultimately, you always decide how often and at what intervals you'd like to come to us.

We use very fine acupuncture needles with a diameter of 0.15 to 0.25 mm. The insertion is usually a very fine, barely noticeable prick, penetrating only a few millimeters beneath the skin. Once the needle is inserted, many people describe a pleasant tingling and warmth sensation around the acupuncture point.

Fear of needles and sharp objects affects many people, so you're not alone. This fear doesn't have to be an obstacle to undergoing acupuncture treatment. There are various ways to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Feel free to discuss your concerns and fears with us during your medical history, and we'll find a solution that is right for you.

If you prefer to be treated without acupuncture needles, acupressure patches are an alternative.

Acupuncture is clearly at the heart of the treatment. In consultation with you, we are happy to complement it with manual medicine, moxa, or cupping to further support your recovery process.

While you’re relaxing with your needles in place, I can already begin the next consultation. This makes the process much more time-efficient — without compromising on quality.

That increased efficiency is what allows me to offer effective treatments at a lower cost.

Unfortunately, treatment by a naturopathic practitioner is not reimbursed for patients with public health insurance. Those with private and supplementary insurance can receive reimbursement. If you are unsure whether your health insurance provider reimburses naturopathic practitioner costs, it is best to check with your insurance provider.

To submit a reimbursement claim to your health insurance provider, you will usually need an invoice in accordance with the fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH). Please contact us for an invoice, and we will send it to you by email.

You can pay by cash, card or bank transfer.

If you'd like to give a treatment as a gift, you can order a voucher here . Vouchers can be picked up at our practice or mailed to you. You can choose the amount between €40 and €60. The recipient can then book their preferred appointment and look forward to a relaxing treatment with us.
