Every treatment begins with a detailed consultation, which allows for a holistic assessment of your complaints and symptoms.
Depending on your needs, this is followed by a massage (manual medicine according to Dr. Furter) and acupuncture treatment. Cupping or moxibustion may also be used. After the manual therapy, there is a rest period during which you can relax while lying down with the acupuncture needles in place.

In many cases, acupuncture can bring about an improvement in these or similar complaints. Acupuncture is generally recommended as a complementary therapy to support your treatment by your general practitioner or specialist.
The treatment, including the initial consultation, lasts one or one and a half hours, depending on the appointment you choose. To ensure you can fully relax, I recommend allowing plenty of time and planning a short break before subsequent appointments.
It's impossible to say definitively how many sessions will be needed, as this depends on your individual symptoms and treatment goals. We will determine these together. In my experience, initial improvements are often noticeable after just a few treatments. Honest and transparent communication is particularly important to me. If I feel I can no longer help you or that you would be better served by someone else, I will always communicate this openly and clearly.
I use very fine acupuncture needles with a diameter of 0.15 to 0.25 mm. The insertion is usually a very fine, barely perceptible prick that only penetrates a few millimeters under the skin. As soon as the needle is inserted, many describe a feeling of pleasant tingling and warmth around the acupuncture point.
Fear of needles and sharp objects affects many people, so you're not alone in feeling this way. This fear doesn't have to prevent you from receiving acupuncture treatment. There are various ways to make the treatment as comfortable as possible for you. Feel free to discuss your concerns and fears with me during your initial consultation, and we'll find a solution that works for you.
If you would prefer to be treated without acupuncture needles, acupressure patches are an alternative.
In my experience, the combination of manual medicine and acupuncture has proven particularly effective. Cupping and moxibustion are also effective complementary therapies. If a particular method appeals to you or you would like to learn more about it, please feel free to ask me anytime.
Unfortunately, treatment by a naturopathic practitioner is not covered by statutory health insurance. Those with private or supplemental insurance may be reimbursed. If you are unsure whether your health insurance covers naturopathic treatments, it's best to contact your insurance provider.
To submit a reimbursement claim to your health insurance company, you will generally need an invoice according to the regulations of the German fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH). If you need an invoice, or are interested in information about supplemental insurance for alternative practitioners, please feel free to contact me.
You can pay in cash, by card or by bank transfer.
You can book your appointment directly online here on the website. Select your preferred date and time from the calendar and look forward to your upcoming treatment. You will receive immediate booking confirmation and a reminder one day before your appointment.
